Video Clips
Here's a look at some of our latest birding videos. For additional footage, go to our YouTube channel at "The Audubon Moment".

The Green Heron is one of the smallest herons, but the color of its plumage and its hunting behavior makes it one of my favorite birds to watch.
The Great Blue Heron is the largest wading bird found in Florida. Equally at home in fresh or saltwater, they are found in abundance throughout the state.
The Red-winged Blackbird has beautiful markings and an equally beautiful song. The female is a drab brown color, but the male has the plumage that the bird is known for.
The Roseate Spoonbill is one of the oddest, yet beautiful looking birds in our country. A wading bird that literally has a spoon for a bill, it's a must see for any birder.

We've become great friends and he's a very cooperative model. Center - The swamp of Hammock Creek State Park near Sebring, Florida. Right - A pair of nesting Great Blue Herons takes a break from nest building on the top of a sable palm at Viera Wetlands in central Florida.
